membership numbers

Hi,
Are any 'western' numbers available/allowed as membership numbers ?
I would like 1001 if this is possible/available

Sorry for the long delay. D1001 was not available, but the following numbers were at the end of the 2008 "season": D1018/1024/1025/1027/1032/1033/1036/1037/1049/1050/1052/ 1057/1058/1059/1061/1064/1066/1073. If you would like to choose one of these, just let me know. A donation of £5 to the WLA would secure the loco number of your choice.

Just wondering what the latest numbers available would be as i would like a loco number when i come to renew my membership. Would it be possible to reserve one ?
