On the Saturday a reunion of original W.L.A. members where invited to the associations sales and memorobilia stand at Bridgnorth station to meet friends old and new, where us more recent members were regailed with stories of the pioneer days of 'Western' preservation.
There follows a few pictures of the get-together.....you all know who you are!

Another chance for a 'then and now' picture, when first private owners of D1013 Richard and Heather Holdsworth pose in front of 'their' loco in 1977 and 2009...32 years!
Personally I think all three of them look in better condition now!
And finally a striking night-time shot of 'Ranger' taken by Richard Hargreaves as the loco works it's final train before withdrawl from service.
