D1062 Visit to WSR

Western Courier passed her Network Rail FTR on Wednesday 2nd June. The move to the WSR is booked for Tuesday 8th June. Courier will travel with D821 behind D444. Timings are below.

I am sure loads of WLA members were very proud to see D1062 looking and sounding so good at the WSR

Superb performance from the loco on the Sunday - shame about the unnecessary Duff!

Thanks especially to all tohse who worked so hard to get the loco ready to travel and for being there to support it

Railgen suggests D1062 should be back at the Valley by now too.

Excellent weekend and great to see all the WLA members I bumped into
